Silvia, Herwig, and Alexander Kraschowetz have been running Boutique Hotel Bauer for three generations. They combine their many years of experience in hospitality and travel with a fine sense of atmosphere and attention to detail that simply makes your stay with us special.

The roots of today’s Boutique Hotel Bauer go back around 75 years. Back then, Anna and Josef Bauer laid the foundation with the small guesthouse “Zu den 2 Bretteln” for what has developed over the decades into an integral part of Saalbach.

In the following years, the property was continued with great commitment by Anita (née Bauer) and Hans Gegenhuber and expanded into a 4-star hotel. Today, this tradition is carried forward by Silvia and Herwig Kraschowetz in the third generation – with respect for the history and a clear view ahead.

The recognition as a Salzburg Traditional Business by the Chamber of Commerce underscores this path and makes visible what has shaped today’s Boutique Hotel for decades: consistency, continuous development, and personal touch.
